FaithRise Privacy Policy

FaithRise is an audio prayer app published by Quiet Peak Studio ("we", "us"). Quiet Peak Studio is the trading name of Shilpa Adhikary, an independent developer based in India. This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

The short version: you do not create an account, and we never see your name or email. FaithRise is free to use, with an optional Premium subscription. The current version shows no ads. A future update will show a small number of ads to listeners who do not have Premium; the Advertising section below explains what that will involve before it happens.

Information we do not collect

• We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or precise location.
• We do not use analytics trackers.
• We do not sell or rent any information to anyone.

Information kept on your device

The app stores the following on your phone only, so that it works the way you expect. It is not sent to us.

• Your favourite prayers, recently played prayers and where you paused.
• Your prayer streak and listening time.
• Your reminder times, alarms and appearance setting.
• Prayers you download for offline listening.

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in your phone settings, deletes all of this.

Subscriptions and payments

FaithRise Premium is bought through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see your card or bank details. To confirm that a subscription is active we use RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives a random app identifier, your purchase history for this app, and basic device information such as country and app version. It does not receive your name or email address from us. Advertising

Today: the current version of FaithRise shows no ads and contains no advertising software.

In a future update: FaithRise will show ads to listeners who do not have Premium. Before that update is released we will update this page and its date, and tell you in the app. When ads are introduced:

• Premium has no ads. Subscribers will never see ads.
• Ads never play during a prayer or Bible reading. They may appear as banners on browsing screens, as a full-screen ad at most once a day after a prayer has finished, and as an optional short ad you can choose to watch to unlock a Premium prayer for the day.
• Ads will be provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob collects information from your phone, which may include your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location based on that IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google may use this to show ads based on your interests where the law allows. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you, and we do not combine it with anything else.
• We aim to block ad categories unsuitable for a faith app, such as gambling, dating and alcohol, but we do not choose or control every individual ad.

Your choices about ads (once they are introduced):

• If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app will ask for your consent before any personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later.
• On any Android phone you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation, in your phone's settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
• Subscribing to Premium removes all ads.

Streaming and downloads

When you play or download a prayer, your phone requests the audio file from our file hosting provider. As with any internet request, that provider may briefly log technical details such as your IP address and the time of the request, for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Notifications

Prayer reminders and alarms are scheduled on your own phone at the times you choose. They are not sent from a server, and you can turn them off at any time in the app or in your phone settings.

Children

FaithRise is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and ads in FaithRise will not be directed at children.

Your choices and rights

Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is normally nothing for us to provide, correct or delete. For purchase records, you can contact RevenueCat or Google. For advertising data, once ads are introduced, you can use the controls described above and Google's My Ad Center. For anything else in this policy, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, such as the introduction of ads, we will also tell you in the app.
