FaithRise Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Quiet Peak Studio ("we", "us"), the publisher of FaithRise, for your use of the FaithRise app. Quiet Peak Studio is the trading name of Shilpa Adhikary, an independent developer based in India. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What FaithRise is

FaithRise offers Christian audio prayers, short faith talks and New Testament Bible readings for personal devotion, together with daily reminders and Bible verses. Scripture is quoted and read from the King James Version.

AI-generated voice

All audio in FaithRise, including the prayers, talks and Bible readings, is narrated using AI voice technology. The voice you hear is computer-generated and is not a recording of a human speaker.

Not professional advice

FaithRise is for spiritual encouragement only. It is not medical, mental health, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a doctor, counsellor or your own pastor. If you are in crisis or think you may harm yourself, contact your local emergency services straight away.

Free and Premium access

FaithRise is free to use, with some prayers, talks and Bible readings available without paying. FaithRise Premium unlocks the full library, prayer journeys and offline downloads, and will keep FaithRise free of ads. The content offered for free, and the features included in Premium, may change over time.

Advertising

The current version of FaithRise shows no ads. A future update will show ads to listeners who do not have Premium, to help keep the free version available. When it does:

• Premium subscribers will not see ads.
• Ads will not play during a prayer or Bible reading. They may appear on browsing screens, as a full-screen ad at most once a day after a prayer has finished, and as optional ads you can choose to watch to unlock a Premium prayer for a day.
• Ads are supplied by Google AdMob and its advertising partners. We aim to block ad categories unsuitable for a faith app, but we do not choose every ad and are not responsible for advertisers' products, services or websites.
• How advertising uses information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions, free trial and billing

• Premium is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription through Google Play. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged the price shown.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under the Google Play refund policy.
• We may change subscription prices. You will be told in advance and can cancel before a new price applies to you.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use the app and listen to its content. You may share a prayer title or a verse using the share buttons. You may not copy, re-upload, sell, broadcast or redistribute the audio or text, or use it to build other products, without our written permission.

Our content

The app, its audio, text, artwork, name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.

Availability

We work to keep FaithRise running well, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Streaming needs an internet connection, and your mobile provider may charge for data.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for FaithRise in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

Ending these terms

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who misuses the app or breaks these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections where you live.
